Vegas to Handbrake Icons Disapearing

Byron K wrote on 6/20/2015, 2:56 PM
Anyone else have their Frameserver Vegas to Handbrake Check and X icons disappearing?

It's there initially but after clicking on them a couple times they disappear. The buttons are still active because I can hover over them and a black outline appears and I can still click on the blank buttons and they work.

It's not a big deal because I generally restart Vegas before a long or final render and I know where the two boxes are but I do multiple smaller segment renders during edit sessions and that's when the icons disappear.

Just curious if anyone else has seen this and if there is a solution.

Byron

very old Vegas bug (eg. similar topic in 2006 !! )
workaround: run TOOLS > SCRIPTING > RESCAN SCRIPT FOLDER

Tools - Scripting - Rescan script menu folder
A shortcut for this is also posted further down in the forum regarding this feature if interested.

I had this happen to me. I made a MACRO and assigned the Rescan to my Contour Shuttle Pro 2 - nice!

There is a script that I've created using a freeware external macro program that works very well. No special hardware required. You can download and try it if you're interested.

Wwaag: No special hardware required.

But, if you DO own the CSP2, you can use its own Macro s/w.

Agree completely. Or if you have a gaming keyboard with programmable keys. It's certainly a lot easier and faster.

grazie, but i've never played a game on mine ;-)

no, really, it's great having so many programable keys, i have three setups, each with 12 keys:

so i have one setup for vegas, one for ps and one for ae. of course a bunch of four keys are dedicated to standard win shortcuts like cut, paste, etc.,
