Only out of curiosity I wanted to know if anyone already tried to render in Vegas running under Vmware on a Linux machine. If so, how is rendering speed compared to running on a pure Windows machine. Editing speed must be much slower due to the fact that every hardware is emulated, but I am wondering if rendering is much slower as there mainly the CPU is used. I would also not recommend this setup but as already said my question is only out of curiosity.
