Vegas user groups?

Are there any near Atlanta, Georgia? I've seen Photoshop, Avid and other user groups advertised who meet every month and share information and help newer users, but never any Vegas groups. It sure would help to sit down with experts and learn instead of trying to figure out some of this stuff.

There is on this very site a list of user groups.
It does seem rather too well hidden and I suspect incomplete.
Could use a bit more prominance and promotion.

I looked for the list and could not find it. Where to look?

Also, I thought there was supposed to be a user group started up in Toronto, Canada - any updates on that?

If anyone wants to, they can start up a user group in Toronto Canada.

I never found the time to do it. :(

I know it's been a while but believe it or not I am still working on getting this off the ground. I have started conversations with SONY both here (Toronto) and in the US.

I'll be sure to announce it here first.

Thanks for the update guys - it was last discussed at DSE's Vegas training session I attended back in September of last year and just wondered where it was at.

I might also mention that I run a lab of 22 Vegas stations at the educational technology training center at Macon State College. Teaching teachers the ins/outs of the video production process. Implementing projects across the curriculum addressing GA state academic performance standards.
