Vegas Video 3.0/Acid Music 3.0 not getting along

I just upgraded to Vegas Video 3.0 from Vegas Audio 2.0
and I was already using Acid Music 3.0 . When I down loaded Vegas Video 3.0 it went through fine, but now when I try to open Acid I get an error message stating that the Acid file .EXE is linked to missing export SFCDI.DLL in the first box , and after i cllick that box another box appears stating that a device attached to the system is not functioning and when I try to uninstall either one of them an error comes up stating that a file is in use from the other program. It seems that both of the programs are sharring a file that wont allow them to be open at the same time.
Is their any one out there that is having this simular problem or can give me an idea how to fix this problem.

damn, i thought i had a bad problem w/ SonicFoundry apps not getting along. my problem was that they would not open. some combination of uninstalling/reinstalling the apps, DirectX, and running Norton's WinDoctor solved my problem.

i don't know how far the apps will go into the uninstall process, but you may try the 'Repair' option if you can. if you can't do that, try Norton's Utilities.

other than that, good luck.
