Vegas Video 3 *BUG*

Hi, I'm not sure this is the place to report bugs but here goes.

I'm using the demo version of Vegas Video 3 and found that on my non-US version of Windows XP Vegas had trouble creating the file Vegas Video Profiles.ini.

The trouble is that in my locale-setting (swedish) we use the comma (,) instead of the period (.) for numerics in some cases. This makes vegas output something like this:

Key1={EA9D287B-C85A-11D3-BB3A-0050DA1A5B06}, "None", 352, 288, 25,000000, 24
Attributes1="Progressive", 1,092061, "None", 0,000000

Which obviously won't work since the file is comma-delimited. There is a workaround though! Just put " around the offending numbers and it will work.

I should also mention that the prebuilt entries in the .ini-file are unreadable by vegas unless you change the . into ,

Edit:
No answers to this topic?
Thought it would be pretty interesting for Sonic Foundry to hear that Vegas Video 3 has problems outside the US (vv2 worked).

Roger,

Yes, this is likely a bug and will be looked into. Sorry for the inconvenience.
