I have problems with other programs that require the codec to be installed in Windows. They are not opening VV3 files as they say no codec installed.I do not know if this is because VV3 does not register its codec or it uses a DLL.I had a problem with files I recieved from another person using a Canopus card. This person was sending me DV files made with the Canopus codec and VV3 would not open them and I would send him files made in VV3 and he had no problem opening them.I went to the Canopus site and they had a view only version of there codec available. Now I can open Canopus files in VV3 save as VV3 and send them back.I need my other programs to be able to open the VV3 files.I don't care if they can't save as I can save as uncompressed and take it into VV and then save as VV3.Kind of a pain.
