If they are out of stock on the website (I believe they only sell it on 1 site) Just take the .pdf file to your local copy store and they can print it off for you and bind it for usually about half the price of buying the printed manual. And if you get lucky enough to have them screw up your order like I did, you can get it for free!! (CopyMax)

I didn't even think you could do this because of copyright reasons. And if I had I would of thought it would be to costly. Thank you very much

I think the original price they quoted me was like $20 before they screwed it up, I complained, then they gave it to me free. Note this was a black and white, double sided copy. IF you want to go color then it will probably cost you quiter a bit more, but b/w was fine for me.

I don't believe there are any copyright issuess as long as you legally purchased the program. I know it has been discussed many times in these forums before and nobody from SoFo has ever said it was illegal to print these yourself.

In the strictest sense of copyright law it is an infringement. But how could we exsist if it was enforced?

In answer to your question, I think the website that you are referring to had some issues in the past about fullfilling orders. I think there is a thread awhile back dedicated to some compliants people had with the company. I had my manual printed out at OfficeMax (in the States) for under $30. I created a front glossy color cover in PaintShop, black spiral bound, and a black vinyl back. It looks pretty snazzy to me.

I talked to the people @ sonic foundry and they informed me that the company that had the original manuals that was shown on the Sonic Foundry product broshure is out of business.
Print your own. You will get better results.
