hi,

i have exactly the same problem like oliver. i wouldn't say
it looks like jpg-artefacts. to me it lokks like a slightly
used pixelate-effect.

it appears on vegas-rendered videos - espacially in scenes
in which i used the inbuild plugins (i.e. contrast &
brigthness)

i always use raw dv-masterial from my sony dcr pc 100
an render with the following settings:

interpolate fields (yes)
best quality
PAL DV
resample every frame (yes)
progressive scan (yes)

any help is highly appreciated - i'd really like to know if
SF or other users have made the same experience,

regards,

fred.
