Vegas video editing terminology

Where can I find definitions for what all of these things like key frames, stereoscopy, and all of the other lingo I see on the forum and in the software mean or do? Seems to me that would be a great leap forward into knowing exactly what the tools I have in my posession do. Not to mention keeping some really novice questions off of the forums like this one I am posting. I see none of this in the help section, looked throught the last 400 posts and nothing came up in search results. Please dont say I have to buy a book when I bought the software which I feel should give me these basic answers.

The Vegas pro manual has all the info that you are looking for (and more for features that VMS doesn't have). Try that SECOND. Before that, get some help from the help feature in the software and have look at the glossary and descriptions. Also use the "Show Me How" tutorials embedded in the software.

You may also want to check out my book on Amazon. It includes definitions of all of the terminology you'll need to understand and work the program as well as step by step instructions for doing things like anaglyphic 3D.

Or just have a look at my free 8 part Basic Training tutorials to learn the basics.

If you're interested in learning some really basic definitions and their interactions, you may find some help in my earlier tutorial here:
