There's the "Movie Studio" versions (both 7.0 and 8.0). There used to be a "Video Factory" version (around versions 4 and 5).

The last Vegas LE i saw personally was 2, and it was audio only. I seem to recall there was a 3, but i didn't download it. LE2 had 8 tracks of audio. LE3 had 4 audio and 4 video. I seem to recall that the LE version had almost every feature of the full version except for limited tracks. It also seems like it wasn't something that could be purchased, but was given away free with the full versions of Sound Forge 5 and ACID 3. Or maybe i'm barking up the completely wrong tree. In any case, there haven't been LE versions since 3. So if you're looking for free, you're probably out of luck.

Do check out the "Studio" versions. They have a surprisingly large subset of the full versions' features for about 1/3 to 1/4 the price.

I have a copy of Vegas Video 3 LE ...... it was included with my copy of Sonic Foundry's "Digtal Video and Audio Production" training guide.

I got my Vegas 3LE with my Canopus 1394 card. I think that was the last one.
