Vegas Video Text Generator

Seems to be that there is a limit of 9 lines in the text
generator, right?
At least the bottom line (the one that not completely in
the editing window) is the last line which can be edited.

It is possible to insert a line in the window, but then you
cannot edit the last line anymore.

Is it supposed to work that way? Bug or feature?

So the only way to make scrolling end credits is to import
a file created with another application!?

I haven't had the problem you describe but maybe you could give us
more details? I'm able to add many lines of text, but how many are
actually visible is determined by the font size, etc. Can't you just
use the arrow keys to move around in the edit text window?

I'm also struggling with scrolling credits, etc. I've gotten the
Photoshop approach to work, but the end result is not as clean as I
would like. Hopefully, titles will be an area of improvement in the
next release of VV.

Anybody out there have any example Photoshop files or other
approaches to titling that they would like to share?

No, the last line I am able to edit in the Text window is the bottom
line (the one which is hardly visible). It is no problem to insert
lines in the window by hitting enter, but I won't be able to edit the
lines which are not visible in the text-window, though I can see all
the lines in the preview window. Using the arrow-down-key to scroll
down does not work either.

Hi - As for scrolling credits, you can do this with the Pan/Cropping
properties using keyframes. It works rather well. or vertically
scrolling credits, just type out all the credits center justified and
then keyframe the pan cropping to go from the top of the frame to the
bottom over the whole length of the credit sequence.

This is a bug- we'll have it fixed in the 2.0b update...

You probably misunderstood me: I was not talking about scrolling
credits through the visible screen, but scrolling down the lines in
the text editing window.
