Vegas video to animated GIF?

I'm wanting to use Vegas to create some short animated GIFs. Anyone done that? What tools did you use to convert the AVI to GIF?

Animiated GIFS are showing their age. Have you thought about doing a FLASH animation instead? Not only can you do much more the file size is way smaller if your target is to serve off the web.

Viscosity does this, but we don't sell it anymore. Perhaps you can find it somewhere.
