vegas video training classes

Does anyone know if sony egas puts on training seminars anywhere ? i am from New York.

VASST is the best there is, without a doubt. Check out their site and their training DVD packages. Well worth every cent. They have appeared at B&H in the past.

John,
Sony normally teaches at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) coming up in Las Vegas in April. As mentioned, VASST is a leader in Vegas training. In fact they have several Sony Certified Vegas Trainers and I believe they will be teaching at NAB as well as several other sponsored events. Of course, the DVD's at VASST are superb if you can't make the live training seminars.

...the updated for VPro 8 Digital Video and Audio Production tutorial book is now out and available from this site...a good overall fundamental course...and i read spot's V8 Editing Workshop book will be released in early '08...
