vegas with pinnacle Pro one RTDV card

I am using a Pinnacle Pro one RTDV capture card bundled with Adobe Premier 6.5. It works fine with external PAL TV monitor. But when I use Vegs 5.0 iI get no external monitor output. Breakout box has got a 1394 deviceand it works fine again with Adobe pPremier 6. Can I use my TV monitor from vegas with that card?

You have to find out if the drivers are proprietary or standard OHCI.

Vegas works with standard firewire cards (OHCI). If the card only has proprietary drivers, then it will only work with Pinnacle programs.

I know that for some cards such as the DV500, Pinnacle did make OHCI drivers. You may have to look on the web.

You can preview from videoout socket of AGP videocard with TVout plugin from http://mikecrash.wz.cz/vegas/vegas.htm
It shareware , but work without limits on most ATI Radeons.
