No. You can output a file from Studio 9 that can be brought to the Vegas timeline, but the titler is not Vegas-compatible. Titledeko can output a number of file types that are Vegas compatible.
I used to use Studio 8 prior to becoming a Vegas user. Even though I will never return to Pinnacle products for editing, I will however ,once in a while use their TitleDeko program within Studio 8 for my Vegas projects. What I do is select the portion of the my video in Vegas that I want to create a title for. I then render that portion to an uncompressed AVI. I then import that file into Studio 8, add my title or Hollywood FX, then render that as an AVI in Studio 8 and then bring it back into Vegas.
