Vegas wont allow me to make white text

I have imported a short video into my project which contains a graphic with lots of blue in it. I am trying to use the text generation tool to place a white text around it - I have checked and double checked and everything shows that the text should be white, but Vegas makes it blue, at first I thought it was maybe some kind of optical illusion from the blue graphic ( but that does have some white text in it that looks white) so I muted the image and my white text still shows as blue. I have tried adjusting the color settings in the text generator - it should be white, how do I get VEGAS to make it white?

Vegas 19.0, on a W10 64 bit OS, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz   3.00 GHz, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 1660 with latest studio driver ( Feb 2022), Windows OS is on a 1 TB SSD, project data is on a 2 TB ssd, Archived projects are on a 4TB HD

Would you be willing to share a screenshot of the preview window and the text generator window? Less important, but what version of VEGAS are you using?

Also, video card and driver version? Some AMD video cards have a "blue" issue with some drivers.

@AaronL

NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 1660 with latest studio driver ( Feb 2022)

'Feb 2022'? ... There's been a few driver updates since 2022.. The latest Studio driver is 551.23 release date 01/24/2024.

In Vegas at the top go to - Help - Check for driver updates.
