Vegas13 preview flickering & Flashing

Upgraded in May to Vegas 13 Pro and have had very few issues. Then in June I downloaded the temp demo of Pluraleyes. Ever since have been having issues of the preview monitor area flickering and flashing a variety of odd frames of video, frames of odd colors, frames of distortion... etc... all breaking up constantly and making it impossible to edit. It often starts out playing video in the preview just fine and then gets worse and worse the longer I use it. It seems to render and playback fine though.

So I uninstalled Pluraleyes to see if that would fix it... but it's still doing the same thing. However, I can open the same project in Vegas 12 and have no flashing at all for some reason and it works just fine in 12.

I just loaded the Vegas 13 update (build 373) a few days ago and I'm STILL getting the flashing and flickering. And now it's crashing as well within a minute of opening the project... new or old.

Any ideas why that is?

I guess maybe I'm the only one having this issue.

I also uninstalled vegas 13 and reinstalled it... but it's still flickering.

Try and switch off GPU acceleration in Vegas... just in case it's on.

Holding Ctrl + Shift while starting Vegas will reset all preferences and delete cached data prior to loading the program.

If you have recently installed new hardware (especially a new graphics card), this is necessary because Vegas may be loading settings for your old hardware.

Did both of those and it seems to have worked. Thank you both!
