vegas5 render problem

When rendering a 14 minute project to avi or mpeg2, I get the error message, "System is low on memory."
I have 1 gig ram and AMD 2600 chip.I did a reboot and kept all background programs.closed.
I do have some large photoshop files on the timeline in PSD and PNG formats.

Anyone see this problem before?

This is pretty common when there are lots of large images, although it shouldn't. try enlarging your paging files, see if that helps. Usually does.
