VegasPro Freeze - corrupted files

Hi there.
Few days ago I have solved my sony vegas issue with freezing. I was not able to work in Vegas Pro more than few minutes, then project freezed!, When I try to do something "more complicated" like select event and cut/paste in different project, it has freezed immediately! Thanks to the following forum thread i finaly solved my problem: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/966092

Reason of my issue was simlpe, i imported to timeline corrupted video file from camcorder.
In my case it was MTS file from Panasonic HC-X920.

My QUESTION is bellow, but first let me to describe my complicated setup to solve this problem. I think that it might be helpful for someone,... just in case of the same issue.

I would like to say it was very, very hard to find the right one corrupted file, because it looks like any good file (fps OK, no extra info)...
I had project with 4 tracks (video+audio), 4 different camcorders (2xPanasonic HC-X920,2XCanon: EOS 70D; +unknown device).

In total more than 100 different video events, in each track more than 20.

I had to be very quick in work, because of often freezing.
1/ Open project. Save as "e.g. NEW NAME01".
2/ Open project ""NEW NAME01", Select events from 1st TRACK (video/audio) "CTRL+X" open New Project (untitled), CTRL+V, Save as "e.g. 1st TRACK".
3/ Then repeat that process with left tracks. It has to be emphasized, that original project with unknown corrupted file, was freezing within few minutes even secs, if I was not too fast!
4/ Then I open all new projects (1st TRACK, 2nd..., 3rd, 4th...) at the same time, and tried to do some changes in each of them for few times, simple (e.g. select event, delete it, undo..., Repeated 6times)..., finaly one project (e.g. 3rd TRACK freezed after 5th attempt to undo action)... Then i know my wanted corrupted file is there!
5/ So I open the source folder of that file and started playing each video file, one by one!... to find that one which was corrupted! Fortunately I find it after 15 minutes!
6/ Then it has to be again fast action, open original project, save it as new one,
6a/ open this new, find corrupted file, select, delete. Save as a new project. Process DONE!

So... ;)

MY QUESTION IS: if there is some faster way to recognize corrupted file from folder of video files?... some kind of file scanner,... Because all of video editors know that often we have so many files, and it would be many hours of playing each file, one by one, till finding the "right"-corrupted one!

I had to play almost all my files till I have found that problem causing one!
Any advice will be appreciated!
Thank you guys!
Btw. I hope that my experience will help someone to solve his "freezing" problem
