Veggie Toolkit Version 2.0 is now available for download and purchase.

Version 2.0 features extensive enhancements to MultiRender, making it the most extensive and flexible batch rendering and media conversion tool available for Vegas. Media Manager (was Clip Logger) adds additional clip import and media pool export functions and media file management tools. The new Relinker tool quickly searchs and replaces offline media without unnecessary prompting.

New MultiRender features include:

- Search multiple folders for projects or media files (including wildcards)
- Batch conversion of media files
- Save and restore settings via presets
- Use any marker type as the selection to render
- Select multiple selections in a project
- Select multiple render templates per source
- Render fixed length segments for web delivery
- Add leader/trailer using generated media or media files at render time
- Add master video effects at render time
- Incremental rendering of long form projects
- Render history with status and elapsed render time
- Drag and drop support
- Import/Export of presets including merging presets
- Add jobs to queue while background rendering

Try the free, 15 day, fully functional trial version to see how the Veggie Toolkit can save you time and effort.

Wow, it seems to be a great tool.

Though I think I found a small bug:

If I delete the options window and try to recall it by activating it in the menu it crashes and shutdown the program. Vegas keeps running.

I can reproduce it, but second time I did this there was no prompt for an error report. I'll try again - think the report is then send to you automatically, isn't it.

Thanks.
Playing with the demo I more and more love this tool. Improved media management is my strongest desire to Vegas and your Veggie Toolkit helps a lot there. Think it will be a must for me ... :-)

I'm going to install this demo tonight but tell me if your program will help me in my workflow.

I have 19 shows where I need to create a few (random) selections from each and render them off to AVI. I currently make a selection, render and wait, make my second selection, render and wait... all from the same timeline. Then I start again on the second show, and so on... Does your app take care of that a la a Render Queue like in Combustion?!?

Yes it does. If you mark all of your selection via Regions or any other markers, then you can run MultiRender, select all of the selections that you want to render, and add them to the queue with one click. Then you can start the rendering and walk away.

Since you have 19 shows, if you were to mark all of the regions in each, you could then add all of the projects to the queue at once and select the All Regions selection option. This would render all of the selections in each project.

Give it a try and take a look at the manual for details. Feel free to email me via the web site if you have questions.

Thanks,

Randall
