Velocity envelope and stills image length

Hello there,

I've made a new project in vegas 4.0 with a picture show. I've finished the project only to discover that the pictures are not displayed long enough. Is there a way to change the display time of all 150 pictures at once?

I've also tried to add a velocity evnelope to the track to slow the time down but I can only seem to add the envelope to a single picture and not the track. Is there a possibility to add it to the track

I'd render and save the track, as is, as a DV track.
Tools>Render to new track (Save the new track where you can find it)

Then I'd open that new track in a new project and apply the velocity to the one pre-rendered track. With stills you won't lose any quality to speak of, and the whole thing should be fixed in about a minute.

Good luck,

Another method to try is to select all the pictures, press G to group them, then hold the Ctrl key down while dragging out the end of the last picture to the right. This will stretch all the pictures out proportionally and make them all play longer. You can also "squish" to the left to have them play faster.

If you have an audio track that you are trying to match the length to, this is probably the fastest and easiest method. Simply Ctrl-drag the end of the pictures to match the end of the audio and it's done.
