Velocity Envelope Printing to Tape

Just finished my 8 minute project and it looked just great
on the PC. I used SF capture utility, 2.0b build 39, to
print to tape via my 1394 card. Everything looked great
except for the video clips I minipulated using the velocity
envelope feature ... these clips looked jerky like a few
frames were missing. It's very noticeable when we played
the video on our TV through the VCR. Not as noticeable when
previewing the video through the miniDV camcorder.
(Probably because of the small screen) Can this be fixed? I
would like to copy this video on to a VHS tape so we can
share it with others.

Thanks, Dean

you might try turning on the resample switch for those
events that have a velocity envelope- that like will help
smooth things out

The rendered video looks great on the PC so I really didn't
need to turn on the resample switch even though I did just
to make sure ... no changes. Video looks great on the PC
but when I print to tape and then play it on a monitor, the
clips that have been changed via the velocity envelope look
choppy. (Only the clips that have velocity envelopes!) So,
something is happening between the PC and the miniDV
camcorder. I'm using the 1394 connection for print to tape
if I didn't mention that previously. By the way, I upgraded
to version 2.0e to see if that helped ... it didn't.

Help please. Dean
