Velocity envelopes

I have the Platinum edition of Vegas video, which quite easily suites all my amateur needs for making video (basically of my little son). However, I realized last night that the Platinum edition does not have Velocity envelopes, which is restricted to the full version. Is it at all possible that I can get a plug in, or an add on that will allow me to have Velocity envelopes.

You can get a little slow motion if you simply press the control button and stretch out your event. Not an "official" velocity envelope though. can't help you with the plug in

You can also get slow motion by right-clicking the video, then going to properties, and changing the playback rate to a number less than 1.

Change it to a number higher than 1 for fast forward.

Not exactly a velocity envelope, but it's what VMS can do.
