I have a very simple timeline. When I play back my video the FPS is jumping all over the place. It goes from around 27, down to as low as 7-8 while doing some page peels.

I began using Vegas about this time last year, and have not used it since March, but I don't recall it did this last year-but I could be wrong.

Is this typical and is there anything I can do to reduce it. The picture at times looks "jittery". I have tried several different playback qualities and it seem to not matter.

I am looking at a timeline that has veg files loaded on to it.
