Version 17 Build 204 is running like a slow, old, dog.

Purchased the update from version 16 to 17. This is Vegas Movie Studio 17, build 204. Made NO other changes to my PC (HP mobile workstation, running Windows 10). When trying to do any video editing, the video preview is basically non-existent, either completely frozen, or black screen. Click a button, watch the hourglass spin for 30 seconds while either the software waits on the machine, or the machine waits on the software. Never had any problems until this upgrade. Anyone else?

Try playing with the various preference tabs that have GPU settings. You may not have made changes to your pc but VMS has made changes from 16 to 17 in it's GPU capabilities.

I have the same problems as your -- frozen preview, unable to render and other features not being responsive when I upgraded to Vegas 17 Platinum. Can you share with me which preference tab/s was/were adjusted in your case? thank you.
