Vertically scrolling text

I have a couple of paragraphs of text I want to put into a graduation DVD I am making for my daughter. Is there a way to have this text scroll up from the bottom . I want it to be similar to star wars scrolling but not with the perspective feature.

Select the Text and Backdrops tab, select credit roll and choose a template you like from there

The problem it it does not seem to let me drop a paragraph of text in only short lines.

Another option is to use the standard Text generator, enter the paragraph, then click on the Placement tab and move the text below the bottom of the frame. Then click on the End button and move the text above the top of the frame. This will cause the text to move from the begin position to the end position over the duration of the text event. Ctrl-drag the end of the text event to the left to make it go faster or to the right to make it go slower.
