Very high speeds - reverse and foward

I'm trying to find out if there is a way on Vegas to make the movie goes faster. I've changed the envelop to 300 and squeezed the clip to make even faster, but i need it to go faster than this... does any one know how to do that? or it's impossible...?

In reverse too!!!

Do what you did, render it out as DV (or use the render to new track tool) and pull the new clip in and do it again.

not a easy way but works.... hope in Vegas 6 improves that....

also right click on the clip & disable resampling. It will blend the frames together. If you're doing a "speed up" effect you don't want that.

There used to be a plugin that let you speed up the footage as fast as you wanted without multiple renders called "Time Bandit" at Peachrock.com.

It used to be part of a suite of Vegas pluins called the "Veggie Toolkit", but the Vegas section on the site seems to have disappeared. You might try contacting the site and finding out if the plugin is still available.
