Very OT: are you a Flash programming expert?

I would never post a message like this here on this board, but I'm desparate.

The story:
I developed and farmed out a large Flash project for a major corporation, that I have worked for - for years. Everything went great over the course of a year, as the project grew, was revised, added to, etc.

In the last stages of the project, the programmer I had been using got cancer and died. Aside from the personal impact on everyone involved, when I took the FLA files to another group they told me the project was not commented completely enough, and that the project was essentially dead in the water. But they wasted four months before they came to this conclusion. I look like an idiot, and my client has one foot out the door.

This is not Flash animation - it is programming, interactive screen draws and navigation. It is complex.

If you are (or know personally) a Flash programming genius with years of experience, please contact me: vicmilt@interpubco.com

I beg the indulgence of the rest of you, but this is the only forum where I really trust the people. I can't afford to choose another bad group.

best,
v

eLance.com is a good place to find them.

You can check the feedback and draw your own conclusions, and also see how much money they have pulled in and how many gigs they have had through this source.

Today eLance lists 2805 providers of Flash programming. They are from all over the world, but there are 925 U.S. providers if you prefer that, both companies and individuals. And of those, 73 are in Florida.

'Personal Recommendation' or not... sounds like you need a FLASH PROGRAMMER. (at least to get you through the deep end of this project.)
