Very serious problem with VV4 :-(

Hi all...
first excuse for my english because i' don't write it very well (i'm italian).
why when i move the edit line with cursor (left and right) the indicators of the frame is not correct? i want to move the line frame by frame, but she move 4/5 frame for 4/5 frame. I press the ALT key but the movement is not correct.
for exaple: if i hold the ALT button and i move the cursor right, on the screen appears: 1:12:07 / 1:12:08 / 1:12:09 / 1:12:11 / 1:12:13 / 1:12:15 ... is not correct, is not in the correct sequence... why ???
please help me!

Could it be that you have different settings for project and clip? This skipping of frames could occur if you view NTSC Media while having set the Project properties to PAL. This usually leads to Vegas skipping some frames to adjust. Same thing works the other way round if you have set Project to NTSC and the clip is Pal you get some double frames until you rerender the clips. Try to match project settings with clips to edit / view, and everything should be allright.

I thought the edit cursor moves a constant distance on screen... how many frames it moves depends on how "zoomed in" your timeline view is. Zoom in more, and it should move to each frame...

Right click on the time counter and select time format and then select "time and frames" from the drop down menu.

I think zcus has the answer; your project time format does not match your project frame rate. They can be set independently.
