When I render a 50 sec B & W mpeg 2 file the smallest I can get it to is 10 meg ? I ahve tried reducing the window size to as small as possible but no luck. I'm new to this so any help would be appreciated. Keith
File size is relative to file type, frame size, frame rate, color depth and audio quality. The default size for MPEG-2 is about twice as large as MPEG-1 for example.
File size verses quality pull in opposite directions. It depends how you are going to end up using the file you create. I mostly make video CD's so I'm stuck with a couple templates. The RM template provides good compression (reduced file size) while still offering decent quality at the higher bitrates.
