VF 2.0 with Dazzle Bridge

I like just about everything about Video Factory, except....

It doesn't seem to work properly with the Hollywood Dazzle Bridge. When the Bridge is hooked up to my PC and my Sony Digi8 camcorder, VF (like other capture programs), sees two instances of "Microsoft DV and VCR". By trial and error, I've found that other capture programs will capture if I select only the second instance as the video input. VF won't let me do this, and insists on selecting both!

It captures OK if I bypass the Bridge, but changing cables around is an unnecessary hassle.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Just a guess... seems similar to the problem discussed in the thread "Video capture with Sony hardware". Sounds like Windows is loading its digital drivers and also the drivers that came with Dazzle. If you see a similar problem with other video authoring software that suggests they all are loading more drivers than are necessary. I'm surprised your system didn't lock-up crash.

I'm still waiting for an answer on what the $%^$# I got messed up on one of my PC's that Media Player displays all MPG files upsidedown and in reverse color. Other file types play fine and even the MPG's play fine if you don't mind seeing them like that. Good think I got more than one PC.

Thanks. Unfortunately the SFSony.exe file didn't help. The Sony driver wasn't installed, just the MS driver.
