Which versions of each? You can't open VF files from newer versions of Vegas Studio in older versions of Vegas.

Thanks

But Ive just purchased Sony Vegas, and the VF files were created when I did a project the other day. They were saved in My Documents, and when I went to open it, it wouldnt open.

Thanks Dene

So you're using Vegas Movie Studio version 6. Which version of the full Vegas are you trying to open them in?

Oh, i think i get it. Sorry for the confusion. You mentioned they wouldn't open in "SONY Vegas", and you posted in the Vegas forum. That made me think you were trying to open "studio" version files in the "full" Vegas program. My responses have nothing to do with your question then. Sorry.

*sigh* Once more ... SONY, can we please rename the "VideoFactory/Movie Studio" forum to "Vegas Movie Studio"?

Please click on this link:

Movie Studio/VideoFactory

and post there. Posting in this forum is like asking a checkers question in a chess forum: The two look similar and are played on the same board, and you may find a few people in the chess forum that know a little about checkers, but most of the time no one will know what you're talking about, or they will assume you are asking about chess and give you an answer that seems like total nonsense.
