VF2.0 or VV3LE?

A while back I demonstrated the power of VV3 to a friend. He really is interested in getting for himself but doesn't need all the bells and whistle.

I wonder what will be a better choice for him: VF2.0 or VV3LE?
Get the Dv and audio production handbook that comes bundle with VV3LE or just go for the VF2.0 download version?
I have been reading the comparaison sheet that compare them to VV3 but I can't make up my mind on which is the best solution.

BTW, he will also be doing multi tracking.

Can someone convince me on which way to go?

That's your answer right there, isn't it?

My suggestion is show him the specs to each and let him decide. Maybe he can call customer service and they can explain the differences between the two. Not everyone understands the different terms in the product description.

Call customer service? LOL we live in thailand Myst, I don't think that would be a wise option for us. Toll free only works for the US ;)

they don't sell it but bundle it with few of the main products: Sound forge 6.0 and the Dv and audio production book
