Okay, here we go again...
After reading jdodge/VF reply to my inability to Print-to-Tape with V2.5, I continued to not be able to P-t-T.
I can however capture DV tape via Firewire quite nicely.
I reinstalled the stand-alone capture V2.0, and with the same settings, could Print-to-Tape on my D8 camcorder. I will have to admit there is some digital break-up which I am not sure what the cause may be, but most of the rendered DV, when played back via camcorder/TV is excellent.
What is happening is that the "Bullet" indicator next to the MS DV Camera & VCR item is not shown and the three Print-to-Tape buttons are greyed-out in my version 2.5, but not so in my version 2.0 capture software.
It does not matter if I get into Print-to-Tape from the Tool Bar item, or thru the File menu I can not activate the MS DV Camera & VCR line in V2.5.
Anybody out there have any suggestions? Or as I previously asked, might this be resolved with the V2.5 fix?
