VF2 asks for a blank CD everytime I'm ready to burn.... Help.

I finished a small test project I was working, and I was ready to save as a VCD. When I tried to do such thing, VF2 came back with a message telling to insert a blank CD to record on. I did it..... seven (7) times!!!!!!!!!!! It still gave me the same message. What gives!? Previously, I was able to burn a VCD, but not anymore. I reinstalled the "burning software" (Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4...), but it still would not aknowledge the blank cd.
Help please.

Did you try a different CD?

Yes I did. I tried three times with the same cd and four times with different cds. None of them worked. I even used one of them to burn a cd to test if they worked....It did work. I dont know why VF is giving me this error message now, when it worked before.

Please help.

When it worked before, did you have Adaptec Easy CD installed? If you are burning from VF, Easy CD is not involved, but they could be causing a conflict in drivers or apps.

DaveT2, I used the same software all the time, rather, VF2 used the same software to burn my VCD the first time, which worked. It is this second time that it is giving that message.
