VHS to CD-R

I'm a virgin with CDA. I've worked with Vegas and I know that I can render an AVI file as a WAVE file. Is there an easy way to convert VHS sound to WAVE and burn it in CDA?

Yes -- capture the stereo audio output and record it into a wave file -- that is just under 80 minutes. Applky markers. regions and burn the resulting files to a CD. There are many posts that respond to long file editing and CD burning. Please let me know if you need any more detail.
