Vid Cap and Sony DHR1000

help... I can't get vid cap to control one of my
dv decks.

I'm running Vegas Video on a Dell Precision
workstation 610 with Dual XEON 550's with 512mb
20gb system drive and 100gb medea scsi dv drives
under Win2k with a WD OHCI 1394 card.

My Panasonic AGDV deck works fine with this setup
but when I try to use the SONY DHR1000 deck I can
see and capture video if I manually control the deck,
but the Vid Cap video deck controls don't work.

p.s. I've tried connecting only one deck at a time
with no effect... And I can't just keep the
Panisonic deck dispense with the Sony deck since
the Panisonic machine is 'borrowed' from another
edit station.

thanks
Hugh

Sorry- we can't control the DHR1000 at this time. Currently we work
with OHCI-compliant IEEE-1394 DV devices only.

Dave,

Thanks for the info. I'll keep my eye out for the update.
Any idea of where this fix sits in the queue of fixes to come?

Thanks for the info

Hugh
