Vidcap First Time In Vista 64

Everything works fine in my 32 bit machine with XP Pro, Canopus ADVC 300. First time I tried to capture through the 300 in Vista 64 with V9.0 32 bit Vidcap sees the VHS video fine but when I hit capture it gives an error message that the video is not compatible and will not capture. Unchecking device control has no effect. I'm in a state of wonderment. Also the audio menu in Vidcap Vista 64 is greyed out but it shows the correct device. It is not in XP 32.

I'm not sure whether this is pertinent, but my Canopus ACEdvio works fine with Vegas 9 64 bit

Repaired the problem by copy and pasting AVIPLUG from Sony 9.0a file plugins together with aviplug and stl2plug from Sony Vidcap from computer with XP Pro to computer with Vista 64. Vidcap capture now works in 9.0a 32 bit and 9.0a 64 bit in Vista 64 computer.
