vidcap - what populates CapturedOn/RecordedOn fields?

Using VidCap and I logged a bunch of tapes. In the clip explorer, if I select Tapes and customize the view, I can add fields Captured On and Recorded On. Is this information I can manually enter? How are these fields populated?

You can't manually enter captured on or recorded on info. If you right click on a clip in the Vidcap explorer, and choose properties>general, you can modify name, tape, comment, rating, thumbnail.

The Recorded On field is the Date/time that the DV device encodes into the DV frame, while the Captured On field is the Date/time that you captured the clip.
