Vidcap2.5 splitting events

Vidcap2.5 splits single captured events into a series of events, depending on the number of scenes being captured within a single event. Vidcap2.5 does not record seamlessly between two scenes from the DV tape, even if they are small files.

I checked all my settings and all appear to be set right...

Any idea???

You can turn off DV scene detection in Video Capture 2.5. To do this open Video Capture and click Options->Preferences->Capture Tab and it is the first option "Enable DV scene detection"
