Video and audio not linked

Hi, I have just re installed a fresh copy of vegas 19 (having issues with vegas 20 - see separate post). But on vegas pro 19, im having an issue where I bring a clip to the timeline and I can move it around the timeline linked - but if I go to delete it, or slit it only the video is deleted or split not the audio.... no doubt a setting somewhere but for the life of me I cant find it. Thank you Martin

Maybe this is not selected?

Thank you. I had tried that with no difference.

I have solved the issue now, by doing the control shift double click on the desktop icon, and deleting the cache.
