video and audio unattached?

All of the sudden events on my main video track do not move with their audio.

I can group individual events.

I can’t seem to permanently regroup the entire #1 video track to it audio. I don’t want the entire track to move together. I want to be able to move each event with its audio, without having to manually regroup each item before I move it.

I must have flipped a setting and can’t figure how to flip it back.

Thanks.

Once you've ungrouped the audio from a video track you cannot re-attach them so that they will act in the same "group" manner as when you originally dropped them on the timeline. They will instead be treated the same as any other unrelated Event. (It is for this reason that I seldom use the ungroup command. I find it is better for me to use "Ignore Event Grouping" instead)

It sounds like you've just hit the Ignore Event Grouping tool in the toolbar.

That is incorrect. Any 2 or more timeline events can be grouped, even a previously mated video/audio pair that had been ungrouped.
