@Massimo-- In current versions of VEGAS, yes. Just double-click a blank area of the toolbar and then remove it from the right side of the window that opens.
I would recommend against that, though, as it's a really useful function when needed. It allows you to ignore the grouping without removing the grouping which can be useful.
@Massimo-- -- If you look at this frame in your video the ends of the audio & video are not aligned, it moves as you release it from the mouse & the red boxes can be seen. The audio must have moved also I believe, someone else will prob explain that better than me.
They remain grouped, if you grab the event the audio & video will move as one but that end can be moved/reduced further in. When moved to the end aligning it with the audio it locks back into place & then can't be moved without unlocking again..

Read the pop-up message, It is saying Ignore event grouping, in other words it doesn't matter if events are grouped or not if this button is pressed they all become individual events, video & audio will move separately from each other.
