Video and Logos stretch

Hi!
I needed a boarder or strip above and below my videos and have placed logos in them. Now they stretchin size when played on a TV.

When I asked how to put a boarder above a video I was helped with the suggestion to change the preset to wide screen. I did this for each video clips and I got a boarder, but now they and the logos stretch when played on a TV.

Will someone please tell how to stop my videos from stretch? Is there a way to add a boarder without changing each video clip, but instead changing a Track?

Thank you,
John

Track motion can narrow the overall size. As for stretch if you are talking about shrinking th etop and bottom so that the video appears to be wider from left to right, then you need to maintain the same aspect ratio. But if you are talking about spacial distortions, these are usually caused by the tv doing the displying.

Thanks for help,
The stretching may be TV related, I do know for sure. The stetching that I am referring to mostley effects logos or other messages that I put in the back bars accross the top and bottom of the screen/video. They stretch up and off of the screen, if locate the same logos at top and bottom without first changing the preset for each clip to 16.9 to obtain the bars i do not have problem. I need to be able have bars at the top and bottom of the screen for part of the videos. Any suggestions? Is there a way to have bars at the top and bottom for a complete track with track motion? When i tried track motion it srink the track from both the top and bottom and i could get just put bars at the top and bottom of the video.

Thanks,
John
Thanks,
John

Rather than playing with widescreen, you could simply mask the top and bottom of the video track. You can use Pan/Crop to reduce the height of the image. You could also create a mask as a still image that is white in the middle and black on top and bottom, then place this on a track just above the video and set it's compositing mode to mask (multiply).
