Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum and was trying to find information or tutorials on performing video effects or animations with Vegas. I'm getting the hang of titles and using audio and video, but I need to step it up a notch and start doing some really creative stuff.

I've posted some videos on my website: http://www.kunce.com. Under the movies link. Riley Bouncing is my favorite. Please view and let me know what you think.

Cute. Is that your boy? As far as creative suggestions go:

# you might try playing with the zoom and pan with keyframing
to add motion
#If you want to get really crazy you could play with compositing to place your star into another environment or different environments.(like drawing a spaceship or a large ball with a window and your audience viewing the subject inside, or perhaps overlaying a group of people dancing to your music with your star in the middle of it all.)
#I believe there are some funky filters that distort like fun house mirrors that might add some humorous effects.
#there are a lot of transitions available to you - have fun playing around with them.
# You can import gif's into VMS It might be fun to bring in some dancing or bouncing gif's - perhaps interacting with your star or the music.
#There are fx you can add to your video that can change or adjust color and brightness - which can be helpful when you are shooting in less than ideal conditions.

well theres my two and a half cents. hopefully that stirs up some ideas for you. have fun
