Video Bus Track?

What is a VIDEO BUS TRACK & how do you insert one?

I know you just click on the INSERT BUS in the Mixer to do an Audio Bus but I'm lost when it comes to the Video Bus. I am trying to get the picture to be Black & White except for one color. I am looking at these threads:

&

The way they are describing it does not make sense to me. I guess there is a bit of a knowledge gap. I am not as skilled in Vegas as I wish I was. Is the Video Bus Track the lower video track? Or do I have to manually assign one?

Also, I thought I saw a Tutorial somewhere on how to do this. Marty? Spot? Chienworks? Somebody? Somewhere?

Is it possible to get this explained in layman's terms?

Sorry for the inconvenience and Thanks for the help.

You display the video bus track by going to the View menu and enabling it.

I think you were asking about how to set everything to B&W except for one color. I'm not sure you need to do anything with the video bus track in order to make this work. The other thread on this subject already covered all that. You just need to insert a regular video track in order to place your various version of the same video over each other. You do this by right-clicking anywhere in an unused area of the main screen and selecting "Insert Video Track."

Hope this helps.
