Video Capture

Hi All,
New to the forum, and searched on this with no luck.
Problem: Capturing to video using DV and firewire, when capturing from current point on tape I only capture 30 sec of video.

Settings: no maximum file size, clip length set to 1, dv scene detection on (cause i'd like it to do that...)

Computer: Win 2k, p3 933, 7xx megs ram, capturing to non os HD that is a RAW hd (tried to convert to NTSF, but not letting me...)

Any thoughs?

I can’t help you with the exact problem you have, but Edwards “Tips, tricks and scrips” has an article about capture.

Are you sure that you are not dropping frames.

That can make the capture stop.
