Video Capture app could not be opened

I am coming up with this error when i open Vegas and click on "capture video" and ideas?

The specified video capture application cannot be opened. C:\Program FIles.........

How did you fix it? I am getting the same message using or trying to use Vegas MS 6.0 after upgrading from MS 4.0.
