Video Capture Length

I have used Sony Vegas Pro 8 for about a year now doing news editing! I just bought Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum, and when I import video from my DV deck it makes the clip length only about 10 seconds, how do I fix this so I can dump in just one file instead of many clips?

Make sure the date was properly set in the camera. If you really want one big clip without scenes, there's a preference option in the capture prefrences dialog.
