Video Capture Prob - All videos narrow 320x480x16

I've been capturing video for NTSC DVD creation, but every video I capture looks fine in preview as it's capturing, but ends up too narrow squashing the image. Vegas tells me the video is 320x480x16. Adobe Premiere does the same. Any suggestions?

ATI Athlon all in wonder Radeon
XP Pro SP1
80GB HD
512 MB RAM
Athlon 1.3 Ghz

Do you see a capture properties dialog for the ATI card inside SF Video Capture? Open that up and adjust the capture frame size, rate etc.
